Appointed Malta’s first Cultural Ambassador, Joseph Calleja introduces viewers to a land steeped in cultural diversity and history.

Sit back and savor famous tenor arias from Puccini’s Tosca; iconic songs such as “Adeste Fideles” and Parla Piu;” modern classics including “Moon River,” “Spanish Eyes,” “Amazing Grace,” “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” “Maria”—and more.

Also featuring British soprano Carly Paoli, who sings “Vilja” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow;” and Italian soprano Carmen Giannattasio in Puccini’s famous “Vissi D’arte.”

Calleja: Sacred Music from St. Johns

Malta’s best-loved son, Joseph Calleja, performs a concert of sacred music at Malta’s stunning St. John’s Co-Cathedral.

It includes works by Verdi, Franck, Mozart, and more and will be performed with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Ramon Tabar, along with a host of international artists.  Organized by the European Foundation for the Support of Culture and the BOV Joseph Calleja Foundation, the concert will see the world-acclaimed tenor perform alongside an impressive operatic line-up that includes Sondra Radvanovski  (Soprano), Marvic Monreal (Mezzo) and Christian Van Horn (Baritone).
